    Gov. Inslee proposed a 2016 supplemental budget that makes modest adjustments to the current budget. The adjustments primarily pay for caseload increases, emergency responses to wildfires and urgent mental health needs.

    While attending COP21 in Paris, Gov. Inslee signed on to several agreements in an effort to boost global cooperation on climate action and strengthen Washington’s commitment to be part of global action on climate.

  • WSDOT staff at transportation package bill signing

    Gov. Inslee advocated for a transportation investment package since his first day in office. This July, he signed a 16-year, $16 billion package that will create thousands of jobs, address critical safety needs around the state, make historic investments in transit and fund projects that relieve congestion.

Every child deserves to grow up healthy. Recognizing that Washington's future depends on the health of our children, Governor Jay Inslee launched an initiative to join with families across the state in making our next generation the healthiest ever.

2016 State of the State: A State of Confidence

Gov. Inslee will deliver his State of the State Address during a Joint Legislative Session of the Washington State Senate and House of Representatives in the Legislative Building in Olympia, at noon on January 12.
